What or who got you started in Bluegrass? I have always enjoyed Bluegrass picking & singing since I was a child. When Buford and I got the opportunity to do this on a more serious level, we jumped at the chance. Where were you born? Knoxville, TN How old are you? 32 What Kind of instrument do you play? Martin HD35 Guitar Who is your favorite Bluegrass Singer? This is a tough one, but I would have to say Jimmy Martin because I think he really felt what he sang. He seemed to always choose the best songs - after all he is the King of Bluegrass. Do you have a favorite Bible Verse? If so which one is it? John 3:16 that says it all. What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy spending time with my wife, mom, family, and friends, riding my Harley, picking Bluegrass, and attending church. What is your most memorable moment while playing? While playing at Old Timer’s Day in Townsend TN we enjoyed meeting and picking with Bill McBee from Pine Mountain Railroad. Bill has become a great friend and has provided much encouragement to our group. If you could meet anyone who would it be and why? I would like to meet Billy Graham because he has influenced world leaders and has helped to lead thousands to Christ. What do you enjoy about playing Bluegrass? I enjoy the energy Bluegrass creates and meeting all of the talented musicians and friends along the way
